The SurfCo Hawaii Fun Shape Nose Guard Kit is a flexible peel-stick protector designed for funboards, mini tanks, and hybrid longboards. Its soft but impact-resistant material absorbs shocks, protects both you and your board, and does not affect board performance.

The nose is one of the most fragile parts of a surfboard, and traditional protectors are often too bulky, which negatively impacts hydrodynamics. Not this one from SurfCo Hawaii – it sits flush with the board’s edge, so it won’t change water flow or board handling.

Installation guide

1. Surface preparation: The nose must be completely clean – remove wax, dust, sand, and grease. Use the included cleaning wipe.

2. Primer: Open the 3M Primer 94 sachet, apply evenly to the nose area, and let dry for 2–3 minutes.

3. Application: Peel off the backing paper. Align the Nose Guard with the stringer and nose edges.

4. Adhesion: Press firmly from the center outwards and smooth away any bubbles.

5. Finish: After applying, keep the board out of the water for several hours – ideally 12–24 hours – to allow the adhesive to fully cure.
