Everyone has probably encountered this before, a broken fin box. There's no need to panic. Everyone can repair a fin box themselves. On a new board, it's a good idea to have the fin box repaired by someone experienced, but on a second-hand board... You probably won't know as much if the fin is a few degrees off-angle, and if it is, it will be more twisting in one turn than in the other. In any case, it's a good idea to do the first repair with someone who has done it before and watch them. Then it will go by itself.
