Almost everyone has already encountered this, a hacked finbox. No need to panic. Everyone can repair the fin box themselves. On a new board, it is good to have the fin box repaired by someone experienced, but on a bazaarovka... You probably don't know that much if the fin is a few degrees different in slope, and if so, it will be more spinning in one turn than in the other. In any case, it's a good idea to do the first repair with someone who has done it before and watch them. Then it will work itself out.
