Buster Surfboards Nose Guard – nose protection for fish, hybrid, and especially river surfboards.

The nose of a surfboard takes a beating during river surfing and in wave pools. Anyone who has ever hit concrete or had their board shoot into a pier mid-ride knows the nose is the most fragile part. The Buster Nose Guard solves this reliably. It is made of flexible, shock-absorbing material that adapts to different nose shapes—from narrower fish outlines to wider hybrid boards.

Thanks to its flexibility and 3M adhesive, installation is easy. After removing the protective film, you can stretch or compress the Nose Guard to fit the exact shape of your board’s nose.

Note: Not suitable for very pointed noses such as some shortboards or gun shapes. If you have a rounder nose (e.g., retro shapes), check out the RSPro Smart Nose Saver in our range. Installation guide

1. Preparation

   Thoroughly clean the surfboard nose of wax, sand, dust, and other debris. If any wax residue remains—or just to be safe—use a suitable degreaser.

2. Application

   Peel the protective film from the inside of the Nose Guard. Stretch the Nose Guard slightly and position it so the central “V” cutout aligns perfectly with the board’s stringer. The Nose Guard logo should face toward the deck of the surfboard.

3. Securing

   Carefully align the Nose Guard and press the rest of the surface onto the board. Work from the center outward and press firmly to remove any air bubbles or wrinkles.
