SurfCo Hawaii Now Available at Surficata

We are now importing the legendary brand SurfCo Hawaii – the authentic, tested original straight from Hawaii, and yes, we’ve already confirmed it fits perfectly even on the Vltava! 🌊 And the very first product to grab your attention in our shop is their unique Tail Guard Kit for surfboards.

Who are SurfCo Hawaii?

SurfCo Hawaii was founded back in 1986, when its creators Eric Arakawa and David Skedeleski came up with the revolutionary Nose Guard – a surfboard nose protector that dramatically reduced the risk of injuries from hard fiberglass (yes, at that time they were protecting themselves rather than the board 🙂). Since then, they have expanded their portfolio with other surf accessories – Tail Guards, Pro Teck fins, Wax Mats, and plenty of other innovations that make surfing safer and sometimes even more stylish.

Why we chose the Tail Guard

The SurfCo Tail Guard is not just another accessory – it protects the tail of your surfboard from dings, cracks, and scratches without affecting performance or hydrodynamics. Thanks to its slim yet durable construction, it fits all common tail shapes: squash, round, pin, diamond, and swallow – a truly universal solution.

Nose guards can be found in several versions already, from brands like RSPro or Buster, but when it comes to a serious tail protector, there is only one on the market.
